About Desiree
My name is Desiree and I am the spiritual girl, although I would also classify myself as an earth-loving person. I love to philosofize about the meaning of life and I like to explain life and the world around me in spiritual terms.
I live together with my boyfriend Karlo, our son Benjamin and our lovely dog Dinkel. I work as a student advisor at the University of Maastricht and I also organize courses about the Mayan Calander/Cosmology and transformation of consciousness. I am Karin and I am the skeptical girl. I am very down-to-earth and I like to explain the world around me in scientific terms. I tend to only believe things when I find the evidence compelling and objectively sound. I do however accept that for some phenomenons, we simply cannot find a solid explanation, which does in my opinion not mean that a spiritual explanation is the only possibility. I live together with my boyfriend Eise and our dog and two cats. I work at the University of Leuven, in Belgium, where I am a researcher in the field of human-computer interaction (with the appropriate level of gadget freakiness).
