Finally time and internet access for some posts from England! We’ve arrived on Saturday after a trip from Maastricht, to Brussels to London to Swindon, where Mike (from Wiltshire Tours) picked us up from the train station. Mike and his partner Sue very kindly offered us to stay at their place in Wootton Basset, which was lovely. The bad news was that at the time we arrived, not a single crop circle had appeared in the Wiltshire area…. So after dinner Mike and Sue took us to Avebury, to the stone circle, see the photos below!

About this blog
What happens when two friends, one spiritually interested girl and one skeptical girl, travel to England together to search for crop circles? On this blog, we share our experiences with each other and with anyone who is interested. The two girls
We have been friends for about 12 years now. We met when we studied psychology at Maastricht University . After our studies, both of us stayed in Maastricht, where we still live. Although we have lots of interests in common (organic food & cosmetics, sustainability, tea, dogs, good food, just to name a few), our philosophies of life are quite different. For 2010, we are planning a trip to England, to search for crop circles. We have very different opinions on the origin and significance of crop circles and we would like to use this blog to share our experiences of our trip and the preparations. Both of us will write blog posts from our own, personal view on the phenomenon of crop circles and on our trip.About Desiree
My name is Desiree and I am the spiritual girl, although I would also classify myself as an earth-loving person. I love to philosofize about the meaning of life and I like to explain life and the world around me in spiritual terms.
I live together with my boyfriend Karlo, our son Benjamin and our lovely dog Dinkel. I work as a student advisor at the University of Maastricht and I also organize courses about the Mayan Calander/Cosmology and transformation of consciousness. You can read more about me on my website www.engelopaarde.nl. My blog posts will be in blue.About Karin
I am Karin and I am the skeptical girl. I am very down-to-earth and I like to explain the world around me in scientific terms. I tend to only believe things when I find the evidence compelling and objectively sound. I do however accept that for some phenomenons, we simply cannot find a solid explanation, which does in my opinion not mean that a spiritual explanation is the only possibility. I live together with my boyfriend Eise and our dog and two cats. I work at the University of Leuven, in Belgium, where I am a researcher in the field of human-computer interaction (with the appropriate level of gadget freakiness). My blog posts will be in dark red.
